Indian Army Releases SSCW NCC Special Entry 124 Merit List for Women Cadets
The Indian Army has published the merit list for the SSCW (NCC) Special Entry 124 course for women, with the training course scheduled to begin in October 2026. The list has been drawn up provisionally, and selection will still depend on vacancy availability, medical fitness, educational qualifications and fulfilment of all other eligibility conditions laid down in the course notification.
The course has six vacancies in all. Of these, five are in the General Category and one is reserved for Wards of Battle Casualty of Army personnel.
Candidates who have not yet submitted copies of all semester marksheets, their degree or provisional degree certificate, and any other required documents have been asked to do so immediately. The papers must be routed through the prescribed channels and reach the authorities on or before October 1, 2026. Failure to comply could lead to cancellation of candidature.
Joining Letters will be issued strictly on the basis of merit and only after the candidates satisfy the vacancy position, medical standards, educational requirements and all other conditions specified for the entry.
The general merit list includes nine candidates. Shrshti Sharma, Roll No. 850517, has secured Merit No. 1, followed by Feni Katariya, Roll No. 855336, at Merit No. 2.
Meher Chauhan, Roll No. 852874, is placed at Merit No. 3. Kadali Srinidhi, Roll No. 853152, and Ananya Mary Sebastian, Roll No. 854029, hold the fourth and fifth positions, respectively.
Sakshi Kumari, Roll No. 850594, is ranked sixth, while Vanshika Parmar, Roll No. 850379, is seventh. Kesar Patil, Roll No. 853746, occupies Merit No. 8, and Rewa Panghal, Roll No. 850801, is listed at Merit No. 9.
In the Wards of Battle Casualty category, Arshia Ahmed, Roll No. 852036, has been placed at Merit No. 1 against the single reserved vacancy.
The NCC Special Entry Scheme enables eligible women NCC cadets to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers. Those selected under the scheme undergo pre-commission training intended to build military knowledge, physical fitness, leadership qualities, discipline and professional competence.
The publication of the SSCW (NCC) Special Entry 124 merit list is the latest step in the selection process for women candidates seeking officer entry through the NCC route. Candidates who make the final cut will still have to complete the necessary documentation and other formalities before receiving their Joining Letters and reporting for training in accordance with Indian Army instructions.
