Indian Army Personnel Heroically Rescue Family from Overturned Car on Jodhpur-Jaipur Highway
Quick and brave actions by two members of the Indian Army saved a family of three after their vehicle lost control and landed in a ditch alongside the Jodhpur–Jaipur highway near Kaparda on Thursday morning.
Reports indicate that the incident took place at approximately 8 a.m. as a car heading towards Jaipur experienced a tyre burst, causing it to overturn and crash off the road. The accident was noticed by Captain Abhishek Choudhary and Naik Sri Ram, who were in another car traveling along the same route.
The Army personnel immediately halted their vehicle and rushed to aid the three individuals trapped inside—a man, his wife, and their young son. With the car doors stuck, the officers, assisted by a local resident, managed to break open the doors to free the family.
Captain Choudhary noted that the parents were unharmed due to wearing seatbelts, while the child incurred minor injuries as he was not secured. After ensuring that the local authorities and emergency services were notified, the officers left the scene only after confirming that the family received the necessary assistance.
Their prompt response averted what could have been a tragic outcome, highlighting the Army's commitment to service and bravery beyond the typical duties expected.
