Indian Army Concludes First Advanced Drone Pilot Training; Naik Shubham Pathania Honored as Top Student
Mhow, Madhya Pradesh, July 26: The Infantry School in Mhow has marked a pivotal achievement for the Indian Army by completing its inaugural Advanced Drone Pilot Training Course for Infantry Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) on July 25, 2026. This development signifies a major advancement in enhancing the Army's battlefield capabilities through the deployment of unmanned aerial systems.
This groundbreaking course was tailored to provide selected Infantry NCOs with in-depth technical knowledge and tactical proficiency in military drone operations. The training aimed to furnish participants with the competencies necessary to independently plan, execute, and incorporate drone missions into modern warfare scenarios, thereby boosting operational efficiency and situational awareness.
