Indian Air Force to Launch Inaugural International Squash Championship in 2025
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is preparing to host the inaugural Indian Air Force International Squash Championship 2025 at Air Force Station New Delhi. Scheduled from November 24 to 28, 2025, the event aims to enhance sportsmanship, foster international camaraderie, and promote a fitness culture within the Armed Forces and the broader community.
This championship will include Team Events and Open Singles categories, attracting top squash players from various countries and military teams. The tournament serves as a platform to showcase exceptional athleticism, endurance, and competitive spirit on an international level.
Additionally, special open categories have been introduced for Indian Air Force serving and veteran players, specifically for age groups 40 years and above and 50 years and above. This initiative underscores the IAF's dedication to promoting lifelong fitness, healthy competition, and sports participation among its members.
Organized by the Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB), the event is set to feature intense competition and vibrant participation. It aims to strengthen the sporting culture within the IAF while promoting international goodwill through sports.
