Indian Air Force Engineer, 25, Jumped to Death from Bengaluru Apartment

A 25-year-old engineer from the Indian Air Force tragically ended his life by leaping from the 24th floor of a residential building in Bengaluru on Sunday.

The engineer, identified as Lokesh Pavan Krishna, lived in the Halasuru military quarters. Earlier that day, he visited his sister Lakshmi's home, where his demeanor reportedly worsened. After the visit, he proceeded to Prestige Jindal City Apartments and jumped from the tower, dying instantly from his injuries.

Upon being alerted by local residents, the police arrived promptly at the scene. Lokesh’s body was transported to Nelamangala Public Hospital for a postmortem. A case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.

This incident comes on the heels of another suicide in Bengaluru last month, involving a 27-year-old software professional named Shilpa, who was found dead in Suddaguntepalya. Her family claims she was a victim of dowry harassment.

Authorities have encouraged individuals experiencing stress, mental health challenges, or domestic issues to seek help promptly.
