Inauguration of PRAYAS Speech Therapy and Wellness Centres at Military Hospital Bhuj by Komal Seth

The Military Hospital in Bhuj has reached a notable milestone in comprehensive healthcare with the inauguration of PRAYAS, a Speech Therapy Centre, along with a Wellness Centre that encompasses Yoga (Nirvana), Ayurveda (Aarogya), and psychological counseling. This initiative merges contemporary medical treatments with India's enduring wellness traditions, establishing a nurturing environment for children with special needs and their families.

The newly launched facilities are dedicated to delivering compassionate, multidisciplinary care that emphasizes physical, emotional, and developmental well-being. By integrating scientific therapy methods with traditional practices, these centers aim to facilitate long-term rehabilitation, enhance resilience, and improve the quality of life, especially for young patients who require specialized and ongoing care.

During a visit, Komal Seth, the Regional President of the Army Wives Welfare Association (Southern Star), engaged with children with special needs and their families. She emphasized the inclusive nature of the facilities and the new opportunities they provide to foster each child's growth, confidence, and learning experience. She also reiterated the community's dedication to support centered around families.

This initiative highlights the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to welfare-based healthcare, particularly in remote and border areas. It fosters integrated solutions that blend compassion with care and align modern medical practices with holistic well-being.
