IG Sonia Narang Conducts Security Review at Cochin Airport, Praises CISF Personnel for Professionalism

Smt. Sonia Narang, IPS, serving as Inspector General/APS, recently conducted an official inspection at the CISF Unit ASG Cochin. Her visit aimed to assess the unit's security readiness and operational effectiveness. During her time at Cochin International Airport, she meticulously examined key areas such as the airport perimeter, the Security Hold Area (SHA), access control zones, and other essential operational sites. Additionally, she toured the CIAL Cyber Dome, where she received a briefing on the sophisticated technological strategies implemented to bolster airport security and enhance cyber surveillance capabilities.

During her visit, Smt. Narang engaged with senior officials from Cochin Airport and CISF personnel stationed in various departments. She praised the collaborative efforts of the CISF and airport authorities in maintaining seamless security operations at one of southern India's busiest airports.
