IG Amol V Homkar Evaluates Operation Sheruwali and Engages with Security Forces in Rajouri
Shri Amol V Homkar, IPS, who serves as the Inspector General of the Central Reserve Police Force Jammu Sector, conducted a visit to Gambhir Mughlan in the Rajouri district from May 25 to 26. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the progress of Operation Sheruwali and examine the current security landscape in the area.
In the course of his visit, the senior officer engaged with representatives from the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Intelligence Bureau. The discussions were aimed at reviewing the ongoing operational strategies and enhancing inter-agency collaboration.
The review concentrated on sustaining a high state of readiness, improving information exchange, and ensuring smooth cooperation among the security agencies involved in the counter-terrorism operations in the region.
IG Homkar also met with troops stationed in the area, acknowledging their dedication, professionalism, and commitment while working under challenging terrain and demanding conditions.
In motivating the personnel, he highlighted the criticality of maintaining mission focus, teamwork, and continuous vigilance to achieve operational goals and uphold peace and security in the region.
