IAF to Showcase ‘Sindoor’ Aerial Formation with Frontline Fighter Jets at Republic Day 2026
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is set to feature a unique aerial display called "Sindoor" during the flypast at the Republic Day Parade in 2026. This formation aims to showcase both India's air power and the operational readiness of its leading combat fleet.
Officials have confirmed that the Sindoor formation will include two Rafale fighter jets, two Su-30 aircraft, two MiG-29 fighters, and a single Jaguar aircraft. These aircraft were instrumental in Operation Sindoor, making their inclusion a tribute to the IAF's recent operational successes.

The flypast is anticipated to be a major attraction during the Republic Day celebrations, illustrating the Indian Air Force's proficiency in operating a varied fleet of advanced fighter jets in a synchronized and accurate manner.
