IAF Officer's Son's Death in Ambala Leads to Murder Investigation After Minister Anil Vij's Intervention
A murder investigation has been initiated regarding the death of Rahul Mishra, 25, in Ambala Cantonment after Haryana Transport Minister Anil Vij intervened in the matter.
Rahul's father, Vinod Kumar Mishra, who serves as a Junior Warrant Officer in the Indian Air Force, sought the minister's help, claiming that his son's death was suspicious and that adequate measures had not been previously taken.
Initially, the police categorized the incident as an accident, indicating that Rahul allegedly fell from the roof of his rented home at Lekhi Complex in the Mahesh Nagar area on February 6, resulting in his death.
The father lodged a complaint with serious allegations against the landlord and his son, which led Minister Vij to instruct the police to file a murder case and initiate a comprehensive investigation.
Following the minister's orders, the Mahesh Nagar Police have registered an FIR citing relevant sections, and the investigation is ongoing to determine the true circumstances of the death.
This case underscores issues regarding delayed responses in incidents of suspicious deaths, as the family demands an impartial and thorough investigation into the matter.
