IAF Hosts Industry Outreach Event at AFS Hakimpet to Foster Indigenous Innovation
On March 17, 2026, the Indian Air Force (IAF) hosted the Industry Outreach Event–2026 at Air Force Station Hakimpet in Secunderabad. The gathering served as a platform for IAF operators to engage with industry partners.
The primary objective of this event was to synchronize the operational needs of the IAF with indigenous innovations, aiming to boost efficiency in operational, maintenance, and administrative areas.
The event saw participation from over 110 startups, MSMEs, and innovators, all presenting advanced solutions and technologies pertinent to contemporary air power and support systems.
This outreach initiative provided a platform for direct interaction between the IAF and industry stakeholders. It allowed for a better understanding of current operational challenges while fostering the development of home-grown solutions.
