HDMC Officers Gain Insights into Vajra Corps' Integrated Operations
Officers from the tri-services undergoing the Higher Defence Management Course (HDMC), along with faculty members, made a visit to the Vajra Corps to gain a comprehensive understanding of integrated operations planning and execution along the Western Front. This visit provided the prospective military leaders with direct exposure to how large formations prepare and coordinate operations across varied and complex terrains in a dynamic security scenario.

During the visit, the officers received briefings on the operational philosophy of the Vajra Corps, their joint operating procedures, and how emerging technologies are being integrated to enhance decision-making, surveillance, and combat readiness in real time. They also obtained valuable insights into the Corps' continuous efforts to optimize training, logistics, and force structures, ensuring they remain agile and responsive to the changing demands of the battlefield.

Maj Gen Atul Bhadauria, VSM, Chief of Staff of the Vajra Corps, addressed the delegation, emphasizing the importance of rapid technological absorption, operational adaptability, and innovation to confront future challenges effectively. He pointed out that modern warfare requires swift, integrated, and effect-based responses, grounded in joint operations, technological capability, and professional excellence.

The visit underscored the Indian Armed Forces' commitment to developing future leaders through practical field exposure, enhancing their understanding of operational art, and strengthening tri-service collaboration to ensure military leadership is prepared for future challenges.
