GOC MG&G Area Motivates Aspiring Athletes at Army Sports Institute, Pune
The General Officer Commanding of the Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa area recently visited the Army Sports Institute (ASI) in Pune, showcasing the Indian Army's dedication to developing world-class athletes. During his visit, he engaged with athletes and observed their training sessions, underscoring the Army's significant influence in advancing structured training, discipline, and long-term athlete development in the country.
In his meeting with members of the Army Boys & Girls Sports Company, the GOC praised the athletes for their exceptional determination and spirit. He urged them to continue pushing their boundaries, strive for excellence, and bring pride to the nation through their performances. He emphasized that their dedication and hard work embody the core values of the Indian Army, which include courage, commitment, and character.
