GOC 71 Sub Area's Inspiring Visit to 6 J&K Battalion NCC in Udhampur

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 71 Sub Area paid a visit to the 6 J&K Battalion of the National Cadet Corps in Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir, where he was honored with a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

During his visit, the GOC emphasized the importance of training and leadership. He commended the efforts of the Zorawar Training Academy in developing future leaders and committed to ongoing support for their training and development programs. Furthermore, he underscored the critical role of discipline and leadership among the cadets.

In addition, the GOC took the opportunity to recognize cadets who had participated in the Republic Day Camp 2026 (RDC 26), acknowledging their achievements. He also observed obstacle training and firing exercises, which demonstrated the cadets’ proficiency and readiness.
