General Upendra Dwivedi Evaluates Ladakh Scouts' Training and Operational Readiness

General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), conducted a visit to the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre to assess its training framework, operational strengths, and regimental advancements. This visit further emphasized the Indian Army's dedication to maintaining high levels of combat readiness in the strategically significant Ladakh region.

During his visit, General Dwivedi received briefings on the Centre's training programs, operational readiness, and ongoing regimental advancements. The Army Chief also toured the newly upgraded Mutup Sanghralaya, where he reviewed the "Chief's Corner," a section dedicated to showcasing the legacy, leadership, and contributions of the Chief of the Army Staff.

He further commended the Ladakh Scouts across all ranks for their outstanding operational performance, steadfast commitment to duty, and their readiness to serve in one of the world's most demanding terrains.

In recognition of exemplary service, General Dwivedi awarded COAS Commendation Cards to selected personnel, acknowledging their dedication to duty and significant contributions to enhancing operational preparedness and mission effectiveness.

The visit reinforced the Indian Army's ongoing focus on enhancing specialized mountain warfare capabilities, preserving regimental heritage, and promoting civil-military cooperation in this strategically crucial Union Territory.
