General Upendra Dwivedi Assesses Operational Readiness and Security Enhancements at Fire and Fury Corps
General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of the Army Staff, conducted a visit to the Fire and Fury Corps to examine the current security landscape and evaluate the operational readiness of the Corps in the area.

During his visit, the COAS received updates on significant initiatives aimed at strengthening national security, improving preparedness, and supporting ongoing nation-building efforts within this strategically important sector.
General Dwivedi commended the Corps for their steadfast dedication, resilience, and outstanding operational performance in challenging terrain and harsh weather conditions. He emphasized the critical role the formation plays in protecting India's borders with professionalism and courage.

The COAS also recognized the exceptional service of the Indian Army and Ladakh Police personnel, acknowledging their significant contributions to maintaining peace, stability, and security in the region.
