General Dwivedi Evaluates Artillery Modernisation and Training at Devlali Conference

General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of the Army Staff, participated in the Biennial Conference of the Regiment of Artillery held at the School of Artillery in Devlali. The event brought together senior leaders to discuss the advancement of India's artillery capabilities.

Key attendees included the Director General of Artillery, Colonel Commandants, Formation Commanders, and Commanding Officers. The discussions primarily focused on force restructuring, modernization, and the infusion of technology to address evolving battlefield needs.

During his time at the facility, General Dwivedi visited the Drone Experience Centre. This cutting-edge facility supports training for technology-driven warfare, featuring advanced simulator labs, an incubation centre, and a drone manoeuvre arena. These resources are used to train personnel in mission planning, surveillance, and precision targeting.

In his address to the officers and instructors present, General Dwivedi praised the ongoing efforts to elevate training standards and incorporate modern warfare strategies. He encouraged personnel to sustain their efforts and continue pursuing excellence amid the Army's rapid technological advancements.
