General Dhiraj Seth Inaugurates AASHVAST to Boost Security of Military Electronics
Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth has inaugurated AASHVAST, a specialised Indian Army facility designed to assess electronic systems hardware for vulnerabilities and security threats. The new centre is intended to strengthen the security, reliability and integrity of mission-critical military electronics at a time when modern defence platforms are becoming increasingly dependent on complex digital systems.
AASHVAST stands for Assessment and Analysis of Electronic Systems Hardware for Vulnerabilities and Security Threats. According to the information provided, the facility has been set up to give the Army advanced capabilities to evaluate critical defence electronic systems and identify weaknesses that could be exploited through technological or cyber-related threats.
