Exercise AMOGH JWALA Demonstrates Modern Combat Techniques and Readiness at Babina

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, holding the titles PVSM, UYSM, and AVSM, and serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, observed the conclusion of Exercise AMOGH JWALA. This event at the Babina Field Firing Ranges was designed to test and validate new operational strategies, force configurations, and modern warfare methods.

Conducted by the White Tiger Division, the exercise highlighted rapid mechanised combat operations. It demonstrated the integrated use of attack helicopters, fighter jets, drones, counter-drone systems, and advanced battlefield technologies within a multi-domain context.

Notable aspects of the exercise included coordinated fire and maneuver strategies, real-time drone surveillance and target acquisition, as well as precision strike capabilities. The effective integration of Electronic Warfare (EW), Air Defence (AD), and night-fighting skills illustrated the power of a connected and forward-looking force.

General Dhiraj Seth praised the personnel for their dedication to professionalism, operational success, and readiness for combat. He underscored the importance of adopting technology and ensuring joint operations across land, air, cyber, space, ISR, and EW domains to create a flexible and responsive force ready to dominate contemporary battlefields.
