Engineering Officers Commissioned at Air Force Technical College Passing Out Parade
On March 7, 2026, a total of 108 Engineering Officers, including nine from nations such as Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Ghana, and Uganda, officially graduated from the Air Force Technical College (AFTC) during a Passing Out Parade.
The ceremony was overseen by Air Marshal Sanjiv Ghuratia, AOM, who acted as the Reviewing Officer for the occasion.

In his address to the newly commissioned officers, Air Marshal Ghuratia highlighted the necessity for innovation, teamwork, and self-reliance in facing the challenges of modern warfare. He stressed the critical role of technical excellence and adaptability in enhancing the operational capabilities of the Indian Air Force amid evolving war scenarios.

The event was marked by a remarkable flypast featuring Dornier aircraft and Mi-17 helicopters, which captivated the audience with their impressive aerial maneuvers.
Further thrilling the attendees, the ‘Air Devils,’ an elite skydiving team of the Indian Air Force, demonstrated their expertise through a series of precise and professional aerial stunts.

The ceremony was also highlighted by the all-women Air Warrior Drill Team (AWDT), whose flawless and synchronized performance won widespread admiration from the spectators.
This graduation signifies a significant achievement in the Indian Air Force's efforts to cultivate skilled technical leaders who will be instrumental in maintaining advanced aircraft systems and ensuring operational readiness.
