DG SSB Sanjay Singhal Evaluates Operational Readiness at Kumaon Sector Border
Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, who serves as the Director General of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), conducted a visit to the forward areas within the Kumaon Sector. This visit was organized under the Panchshul Brigade's supervision to assess the current border situation and the level of operational readiness.

During his inspection, the Director General received detailed briefings regarding the security conditions on the ground. These briefings covered the deployment strategies and the initiatives being implemented to improve coordination between different forces and agencies. The objective of these measures is to effectively address the evolving security challenges along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and the International Border (IB).

In his interaction with the troops stationed in these forward areas, Shri Singhal praised their constant vigilance, resilience, and professionalism. He recognized their dedication and commitment to duty, which they maintain while operating in harsh conditions, including sub-zero temperatures and challenging high-altitude terrain. Their efforts play a critical role in protecting the nation's borders.

This visit underscored the mutual determination of the SSB and the Indian Army to maintain secure borders. This is achieved through seamless coordination, joint operations, and consistent readiness in these strategically sensitive frontier areas.
