Defence Secretary Reviews Infrastructure Advancements in Kumaon Sector with Lt Gen Raghu Srinivasan
The Defence Secretary, Shri Rajesh Kr Singh, IAS, accompanied by Lt Gen Raghu Srinivasan, Director General of Border Roads, conducted a visit to the Kumaon Sector to evaluate the swift advancement in infrastructure development in high-altitude border regions. This visit highlighted the government's concentrated efforts to enhance operational mobility, boost logistics efficiency, and fortify readiness in the challenging terrains of the Himalayan frontier.
During the assessment, the officials examined ongoing road construction, the progress of all-weather connectivity projects, and the expansion of logistics facilities that support the troops stationed in these areas.
