Dao Division Executes Comprehensive Validation Exercises in Arunachal Pradesh Forward Areas
The Dao Division of the Spear Corps has recently carried out an extensive validation exercise across its forward positions in Arunachal Pradesh. The initiative was designed to enhance battle strategies, refine tactical maneuvers, and ensure the cohesive operation of all sub-units within the region’s demanding landscape.
Enhancing Combat Efficiency and Coordination
This validation drill aimed at optimizing command and control systems, assessing real-time coordination among infantry, artillery, engineers, and support units, and strengthening the Division’s capacity to function as a unified entity in multi-domain operations. The exercise further tested logistic flexibility, the integration of surveillance systems, and rapid-response capabilities critical for missions in high-altitude and remote locations.

Operational Readiness in Extreme Terrain
Conducted in the challenging mountainous regions of Arunachal Pradesh, the drills assessed the soldiers’ stamina, flexibility, and responsiveness under simulated combat scenarios. Key focus areas included swift deployment, robust communication systems, and tactics adapted to the terrain, all aimed at maintaining readiness for any situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

Focus on Jointmanship and Synergy
The exercise highlighted the Indian Army’s dedication to joint operations and operational synergy, demonstrating how the coordinated efforts of various divisions can significantly boost combat efficiency. The Dao Division continues to set a standard for preparedness, professionalism, and innovation in protecting India’s eastern borders.
