CRPF DG G.P. Singh Reviews Construction of New Headquarters Building

Central Reserve Police Force Director General G.P. Singh has reviewed the ongoing construction of the force’s new headquarters building, with senior officials accompanying him during an on-site inspection of the project. The visit focused on assessing the pace and quality of work at the site and on ensuring that the building is completed in line with the prescribed schedule.

According to the review, Singh inspected the progress of different construction activities and examined the work being carried out across the project area. The exercise was intended to take stock of how far the project has advanced and to identify any issues that could affect delivery timelines or construction standards.

During the inspection, the CRPF chief stressed that quality benchmarks must remain strict throughout the construction process. He also directed that the work should proceed in a time-bound manner across all phases, reflecting the importance attached to both durability and timely completion of the new facility.

Singh further instructed project engineers and senior officials to ensure smooth coordination among all agencies involved in the construction. He underlined that effective inter-agency coordination would be essential to complete the remaining work and secure the timely handover of the headquarters building.

The new headquarters is expected to provide the CRPF with modern infrastructure suited to the administrative and operational needs of one of India’s largest Central Armed Police Forces. The building is intended to support the force’s functioning with facilities that match its scale and responsibilities.

Senior officials who accompanied the Director General also reviewed the project’s progress and discussed the measures needed to avoid unnecessary delays while maintaining the required standards.
