Central Air Command Chief Reviews Operational Readiness at Air Force Station Bamrauli, Prayagraj

Prayagraj, September 4, 2026: The Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief (AOC-in-C) of the Indian Air Force’s Central Air Command, along with the President of the Air Force Family Welfare Association (Regional) [AFFWA (R)], visited Air Force Station Bamrauli in Prayagraj to assess the station’s operational preparedness, infrastructure and welfare measures.

The visit focused on both the station’s military readiness and its day-to-day functioning in peacetime. The AOC-in-C was briefed on a range of ongoing capability-enhancement initiatives intended to improve the station’s operational effectiveness and support its broader mission requirements.

During the inspection, the Air Marshal reviewed work services in progress and examined the existing infrastructure at the base. The assessment included the facilities currently available and the steps being taken to strengthen them in line with operational needs.

He also met personnel posted at Air Force Station Bamrauli and commended them for their professionalism, commitment and high morale. In his interaction with the station personnel, he asked them to continue focusing on making the best use of available resources while maintaining high standards of operational preparedness.

At the same time, the President of AFFWA (R) reviewed the welfare initiatives being implemented for Air Force personnel and their families at the station. She met the Sanginis and acknowledged their contribution to the Air Force community, particularly in strengthening welfare and support systems for families associated with the service.

The visit reflected Central Air Command’s continuing emphasis on operational readiness, capability enhancement, efficient use of resources and the welfare of Air Force personnel and their families.
