CDS General Chauhan Stresses Technology in Defence Strategy in MILIT Address
General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff, addressed trainee officers at the Military Institute of Technology (MILIT), where he delivered an in-depth lecture on the topics of National Security Architecture and Higher Defence Management.

In his address, General Chauhan underscored the significance of implementing a Defence Technology Management framework. This framework aims to boost interoperability among the services, enhance joint operational capabilities, and expedite decision-making processes through technological advancements.

The General encouraged the young officers to maintain technological adaptability, remain focused on operational readiness, and uphold professional integrity as they prepare to play a role in India's defence transformation.

Engaging with tri-service officers, General Chauhan discussed joint preparedness, emerging operational challenges, and the shifting dynamics of modern warfare. He praised MILIT’s systems-based approach to Defence Technology Education, highlighting its importance in nurturing critical and analytical thinking skills among future military leaders.
