CDS General Anil Chauhan Introduces Unified Tele Directory for Armed Forces

General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff, has officially introduced the Tri-Services Tele Directory Web Application. This digital initiative is designed to improve the integration and communication within the Indian Armed Forces.

The Directorate General of Signals (DG Signals) developed the application internally, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance interoperability and joint operations among the three branches of the military.

Officials assert that this initiative marks a crucial step in boosting coordination, operational efficiency, and integrated operations within the Indian Armed Forces.

The Tri-Services Tele Directory Web Application is projected to serve as a secure and unified digital platform that will enable more efficient communication and connectivity among the personnel and establishments of the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Air Force.

This launch underscores the ongoing focus on digital transformation, joint operations, and technology-driven integration, aligning with the vision of theatreisation and modernisation of India's defence forces.
