Capt Kamaldeep Kaur, 2nd Officer Annie Raghuvanshi Secure Second Place in Merit List at OTA Gwalior

Two officers from 6 J&K Battalion NCC have secured second place in their respective categories in the Overall Order of Merit at a Refresher Course held at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gwalior.

Capt (Dr) Kamaldeep Kaur finished second in the Senior Wing category, while 2nd Officer Annie Raghuvanshi was placed second in the Junior Wing category. Their performance at the course brought them distinction among participants undergoing training at the academy.

The NCC said the officers’ showing reflected strong discipline, versatility and all-round proficiency across the different components of training conducted at OTA Gwalior. The result also points to the standards expected of NCC officers during refresher training, where professional competence and leadership qualities are assessed alongside performance in training activities.

According to the NCC, the achievement aligns with its wider focus on building leadership, discipline and professional capability among its officers. The organisation also described the accomplishment as consistent with its motto of “Unity and Discipline,” which it said continues to guide its training ethos and standards.
