Brigadier Prafull Mohan Takes Charge as Commandant of Military Hospital Dehradun
On November 1, 2025, Brigadier Prafull Mohan officially assumed the role of Commandant at Military Hospital (MH) Dehradun in a ceremonial Change of Command event. He takes over from Brigadier Parikshit Singh.
Brigadier Mohan is a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacologist with a wealth of experience gained from his tenure at various military medical institutions. His previous positions include significant academic and clinical roles, notably at the esteemed Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) in Pune.
This leadership transition signals an important change at MH Dehradun, a leading medical center that serves military personnel, veterans, and their families. Under Brigadier Mohan's leadership, the hospital is anticipated to enhance its medical services, elevate patient care, and continue to excel in training.
