Bravehearts Lance Havildar Palash Ghosh and Lance Naik Sujay Ghosh Martyred in Kokernag Counter-Terrorism Operation

Lance Havildar Palash Ghosh and Lance Naik Sujay Ghosh demonstrated remarkable bravery as they achieved Veergati during a mission in Kokernag, Anantnag. Both soldiers were part of a Counter-Terrorism unit operating in difficult conditions.

Despite facing heavy snowfall and challenging terrain during the operation, the soldiers remained steadfast in their mission, ultimately sacrificing their lives in service. Lance Havildar Palash Ghosh was from Rukunpur village in Murshidabad, West Bengal, and stood shoulder to shoulder with Lance Naik Sujay Ghosh in their valiant efforts.

The Chinar Corps, in a post on the platform X, paid tribute to the exceptional courage, dedication, and ultimate sacrifice of these soldiers. Their bravery in the face of harsh weather conditions serves as an inspiration to many. The Army has pledged continuous support to the families of these fallen heroes.
