Blue Cloud Softech Enhances Defence and Cybersecurity Strategy with Lt Gen Anil Bhalla's Appointment

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd (BCSSL), a prominent technology firm based in Hyderabad, has appointed Lieutenant General Anil Bhalla (Retd), decorated with PVSM, AVSM, and VSM honors, to its Advisory Board. This strategic move aims to bolster the company's efforts in defence and cybersecurity, enhancing its ability to innovate in national security and enterprise transformation.

Lt Gen Bhalla, who served the Indian Army for 39 years, has held significant positions such as Director General of the Defence Intelligence Agency and Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Intelligence). His career involved advising both the Raksha Mantri and the National Security Advisor on critical strategic and intelligence issues. He has been instrumental in developing India’s defence strategies, overseeing extensive resources, and promoting defence partnerships with over 20 nations.

In his new position at BCSSL, Lt Gen Bhalla will direct the company’s strategies in secure communication systems, defence innovations, cybersecurity measures, blockchain technology, and strategic risk management. Additionally, he will mentor the senior executives and innovation teams to ensure BCSSL’s technological advancements are in line with both national and international defence strategies.

This appointment coincides with BCSSL’s robust financial performance. In the fourth quarter of FY25, the company reported net sales of ₹183.62 crore and a 52% increase in net profit to ₹13.04 crore compared to the previous year’s same period. Over the full financial year, net sales grew by 59% to ₹796.86 crore, and net profit increased by 175% to ₹44.27 crore. The company’s shares, following a 2:1 stock split in January 2025, have surged by 119% from their 52-week low of ₹14.95, resulting in a market capitalization of ₹1,427 crore.

Operating in eight countries including India, the UK, USA, UAE, Israel, France, Singapore, and Tanzania, BCSSL provides AIoT-driven solutions across sectors like defence, healthcare, national infrastructure, and digital transformation. The addition of Lt Gen Bhalla is poised to significantly enhance the firm’s strategic capabilities in the dynamic fields of cybersecurity and defence technology.
