Assam Rifles Showcases Weapons, Surveillance Gear to 500 NCC Cadets in Tripura
Assam Rifles organised a weapon and equipment display for 500 NCC cadets of the 13 NCC Battalion at Narsinghgarh, Tripura, on October 2, 2026, offering the students direct exposure to service weapons and the surveillance and communication systems used by the force.
The event brought together cadets and Assam Rifles personnel in a structured setting designed to familiarise young participants with military equipment. According to the source material, the display allowed the cadets to observe the weapons and systems at close range and gain a practical understanding of the capabilities associated with the force.
A total of 500 NCC cadets from the 13 NCC Battalion participated in the programme at Narsinghgarh. The interaction gave them first-hand exposure to military equipment and the opportunity to see service weapons, surveillance tools and communication systems in person.
The display was part of Assam Rifles’ broader engagement with NCC cadets. It was aimed at giving the young participants a closer look at the equipment used by the force and helping them understand its role through direct observation rather than classroom-style learning alone.
By showcasing its weapons and equipment at Narsinghgarh, Assam Rifles provided the NCC cadets with a practical introduction to the force’s operational tools, reinforcing the educational and awareness aspect of the interaction.
