ASC Centre & College Completes Advanced Course in Supply Chain & Food Technology; Colonel Bhadouria Named Top Student
Bengaluru, July 27: The ASC Centre & College in Bengaluru recently concluded the Advance Supply Chain Management & Food Technology Course for officers of the Army Service Corps (ASC). Held on July 27, 2026, the course aimed at enhancing officers' skills in military logistics, supply chain management, and food technology to better prepare them for the Indian Army's evolving logistical needs.
The programme gathered ASC officers for comprehensive training in contemporary supply chain methodologies, operational logistics, and food technology, while also integrating new technologies into military support systems. The objective was to bolster the officers' capabilities in providing seamless logistical support for military operations across a variety of environments.
During the valedictory ceremony, Lieutenant General JK Gera, Commandant of the ASC Centre & College, highlighted the increasing importance of domain expertise in maintaining operational readiness. He stressed the necessity for the continuous incorporation of emerging technologies, innovative logistical solutions, and global best practices to improve the efficiency and resilience of military supply chains.

Lieutenant General Gera further emphasized the importance of enhancing civil-military cooperation in logistics management and food technology. He pointed out that collaborations with industry, academic entities, and research institutions are crucial for modernizing military logistics and ensuring consistent support to operational units under any circumstances.
The Commandant urged the officers to remain dedicated to continual learning and innovation, considering the evolving nature of warfare and military logistics. At the closing ceremony, Colonel Ajay Kant Bhadouria was recognized as the Best Student of the course for his exceptional academic performance, professional skills, and overall excellence throughout the training period.
