Artillery Officer Cadets Honored Before Commissioning Parade at IMA in December 2025
Officer Cadets from the 157 Regular Course, 140 Technical Graduate Course (TGC), 55 Special Commission Officers (SCO) Course, and the 46 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Course, who are set to be commissioned into the Regiment of Artillery on December 13, 2025, were honored during a special ceremony by receiving their accoutrements.
The event was attended by Maj Gen Rajender Prakash, VSM (Retd), who served as the chief guest. Addressing the cadets, he motivated them to assume leadership roles as they prepare to join the Regiment of Artillery, also known as the "Arm of Decision." He highlighted the essential values of discipline, leadership, and professional excellence that will be crucial in their upcoming responsibilities.
Veteran Gunner Officers were also present at the ceremony, offering blessings and encouragement to the cadets as they embark on their military careers. Their guidance provided emotional significance and boosted the confidence of the future officers.
This event signified a major milestone for the cadets, marking their progression from trainees to commissioned officers, ready to serve their country with honor, resilience, and dedication.
