Army War College Officers Visit Arunachal Pradesh for Firsthand Operational Insight

Participants of the Higher Command Course (HCC) from the Army War College (AWC) recently traveled to forward areas in Arunachal Pradesh. The visit aimed to provide them with direct experience of the operational conditions along India's Northern Front.

During their time in the region, the officers engaged with Formation Commanders stationed there. These interactions focused on strategic challenges, the complexities of the terrain, and the dynamic aspects of managing borders in high-altitude zones. The discussions were intended to equip future senior leaders of the Indian Army with a thorough understanding of operational challenges, logistics, and the importance of inter-agency cooperation in forward areas.

This visit is a key component of the curriculum at the Army War College, which is structured to prepare officers for advanced leadership positions by exposing them to real-world operational environments. The initiative reflects the Indian Army's dedication to continuous learning, fostering professional growth, and ensuring robust preparedness along the country's borders.
