Army War College Holds Spouse Guidance Capsule on Military Family Well-Being
The Army War College, India, has conducted a Spouse Guidance Capsule for the spouses of Student Officers, bringing together sessions on emotional well-being, effective relationships, legal awareness and financial security. The programme was aimed at helping military families better navigate the pressures and practical realities of service life.
The capsule was designed to give participants useful, real-world guidance on personal well-being, family relationships and legal rights. By combining expert input from different fields, the Army War College sought to equip spouses with knowledge that could help them support themselves and their families while adjusting to the demands associated with military life.

Mrs Anupama Pradhan, an NLP Practitioner and Life Coach, led a session focused on emotional well-being and effective relationships. Her talk addressed themes connected with personal well-being and interpersonal relationships, with the intent of helping participants deal with everyday challenges with greater awareness and confidence.
Another session was delivered by Advocate Raghvendra Raghuvanshi, a panelist from the FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO), who spoke on matrimonial rights, financial security and legal awareness. That session focused on helping participants understand legal rights and financial matters relevant to their personal and family circumstances.

The programme’s mix of sessions on relationships, emotional health and legal awareness gave it a broad focus on issues commonly faced by military families. By bringing together perspectives from life coaching and legal expertise, the Army War College aimed to provide practical insights across different aspects of family life.
For the spouses of Student Officers, such guidance can help build awareness of personal well-being, relationship management, and legal and financial considerations. The capsule was structured around these concerns, with an emphasis on helping participants approach the challenges of military life with confidence.

The initiative highlighted the role of spouse outreach in strengthening Army families and building a more resilient community. Through expert guidance and practical learning, the Spouse Guidance Capsule focused on supporting the well-being of military families and improving participants’ understanding of issues that may arise in personal and family life.
