Army Recruiting Office Amethi Hosts Youth Outreach Programme at Sainik School Amethi

The Army Recruiting Office (ARO) Amethi, in collaboration with the Zonal Recruiting Office (ZRO) for Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, conducted a youth outreach event at Sainik School Amethi. This initiative was designed to inspire students to consider joining the Indian Armed Forces.

The event included an interactive session led by Major General Manish Kumar, YSM, SM, the Zonal Recruiting Officer for UP & Uttarakhand. He encouraged the cadets to embrace a path characterized by leadership, discipline, and national service. In his address, the General Officer underlined the necessity of developing perseverance, integrity, and leadership skills as essential qualities for success in the Armed Forces.

Throughout the session, cadets engaged in discussions, posing questions about military training, life in the service, and potential entry routes into the Armed Forces. Maj Gen Manish Kumar used his extensive experience to emphasize the importance of physical fitness, mental resilience, and academic achievement for those aiming to join the military.

He further acknowledged the crucial role Sainik Schools play in fostering future military leaders by instilling discipline, patriotism, and resilience in students.
