Army Chief General Dhiraj Seth Discusses Security Situation with J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah

During his visit to the Union Territory, Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth met with Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah at the Chief Minister's official residence.

General Seth was joined by Lieutenant General Balbir Singh, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Chinar Corps, in addition to other senior officers of the Indian Army.

The primary focus of the meeting was the current security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, along with ongoing efforts to enhance peace, stability, and coordination in the area.

As part of his visit, General Dhiraj Seth conducted a thorough review of operational preparedness, counter-terrorism efforts, and security measures, highlighting the Indian Army's ongoing dedication to protecting national security and maintaining peace in Jammu and Kashmir.
