Army Air Defence College Gopalpur Launches Young Officers' Course with International Participation

The Army Air Defence College (AADC) in Gopalpur inaugurated the Young Officers’ Course for newly commissioned Army Air Defence officers on October 22, 2025. This program also includes participants from the nations of Cameroon, Malawi, and Namibia, highlighting the ongoing military collaboration and exchange of knowledge between India and its allied countries.
This intensive six-month course is designed to develop these young officers into skilled air defence professionals, capable of addressing contemporary aerial threats. The training involves a combination of academic instruction, simulations, live exercises, and rigorous training sessions, providing a thorough understanding of air defence systems, radar technology, missile operations, and command procedures.

Guided by seasoned instructors at AADC Gopalpur, the officers will be trained in leadership, tactical skills, and operational proficiency, equipping them to protect the nation's airspace with accuracy and professionalism. This course represents the first step in their advancement towards becoming effective and self-assured leaders in Air Defence Operations.
