Armed Intruder Apprehended by Security Forces Near Jammu International Border

On Friday, security forces successfully detained an armed individual near the International Border in Jammu district's Pargwal area, averting a potential security threat along the strategically important boundary.

Officials reported that the individual, named Abdul Khalik, was captured by vigilant Border Security Force personnel during their routine monitoring activities. At the time of his apprehension, he was found in possession of a weapon, according to a senior police officer.

Subsequent to his arrest, Khalik was transferred to Police Post Pargwal, which operates under Police Station Khour, for further legal proceedings and investigation.

This incident highlights the increased alertness of security forces stationed along the International Border, particularly in light of rising attempts at infiltration and unauthorized cross-border movements.
