Amogh Division Completes Innovative SSB Preparation Program for Future Leaders

The Amogh Division, operating under the Sapta Shakti Command, recently concluded an innovative Services Selection Board (SSB) preparation program designed to cultivate future military leaders. This initiative offered students from Army Public School (APS) Jaipur and APS Sriganganagar a comprehensive introduction to the SSB process, which is essential for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Indian Military Academy (IMA).

The program recreated a five-day SSB selection environment, focusing on fostering discipline, determination, and confidence. Students received tailored feedback and guidance from seasoned assessors to enhance their leadership abilities. The curriculum included interactive group tasks, psychological evaluations, and communication exercises, all closely mirroring the actual SSB testing scenario.
Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command, examined the operational readiness of the Amogh Division. During his visit to forward areas and interactions with Border Security Force (BSF) personnel in Sriganganagar, he highlighted the significance of such programs in promoting inter-agency collaboration and leadership development.

APS Sriganganagar, affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since 1996 and having produced its first Class XII graduates in 2005, along with APS Jaipur, have maintained a strong academic track record. Their collaboration with the Army in this venture underscores a mutual goal of preparing students for careers in the armed forces.
The initiative by the Amogh Division has been praised for its progressive approach to military training and mentorship. By integrating practical experience with expert guidance, the program represents a noteworthy advancement in the Indian Army’s mission to inspire and prepare young leaders for national service.
