Aircraft-Shaped Balloon Labeled 'PIA' Retrieved in Rajouri by Police
A balloon designed to resemble an aircraft and marked with the letters "PIA" was discovered in the Rajouri district, near Police Post Teryath, on Tuesday, leading to a rapid response from security forces.
Officials reported that the balloon was found by locals in a mountainous area, who promptly informed the police. A local police team arrived at the location and took possession of the object for further investigation.
The Rajouri Police stated that their inspection revealed the balloon lacked any electrical or electronic parts. They described it as a simple inflatable object with the appearance of an aircraft.
Security forces maintained a high level of alertness in the area as a precaution, although officials assured that there was no threat and the situation was under control.
