Air Vice Marshal Arijit Singh, Principal Medical Officer of the Western Air Command, visited the ECHS Polyclinic in Sarsawa on August 18, 2026, to review how the facility is functioning and to assess the healthcare services being provided to beneficiaries.

The visit focused on the day-to-day delivery of medical support under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme, or ECHS, which provides healthcare facilities to veterans and their families. During the inspection, Air Vice Marshal Singh interacted with the staff and examined the polyclinic’s efforts to ensure that beneficiaries have access to healthcare that is both available and of good quality.

He appreciated the dedication, professionalism and commitment shown by the staff in meeting the medical needs of veterans and their families.
