Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas Conducts Thorough Review at Air Force Station Tambaram
Air Marshal Seethepalli Shrinivas, who holds the titles of PVSM, AVSM, and VSM, in his role as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, paid a visit to Air Force Station Tambaram on February 3rd and 4th, 2026. He was accompanied by Mrs. Sunita Shrinivas, President of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), and was welcomed with a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

Throughout his visit, Air Marshal Shrinivas conducted an exhaustive review of the station's flying, maintenance, training, and administrative operations. He participated in a sortie on the Pilatus PC-7 aircraft, which provided him direct experience of the ongoing training activities.

In his interactions with the Directing Staff and trainees from the Flying Instructors’ School, Air Marshal Shrinivas engaged in discussions about training methodologies, instructional quality, and the professional growth of personnel. He addressed the station's members, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining high standards in training to ensure the Indian Air Force is operationally adept and prepared for future challenges.

This visit underscored the Training Command's commitment to upholding rigorous training standards and fostering ongoing improvements, thereby guaranteeing the Indian Air Force's readiness to tackle evolving operational demands.
