Air Marshal Sandeep Thareja Reviews Medical Readiness at Jaipur Military Station

Air Marshal Sandeep Thareja, Director General Medical Services (Indian Air Force), reviewed the medical preparedness and operational support framework of Medical Support Elements under South Western Command during a visit to Jaipur Military Station, where the focus was on frontline medical readiness, healthcare infrastructure and inter-service coordination.

During the visit, the senior officer examined medical plans and support mechanisms intended to meet operational requirements in frontline conditions. His review covered the preparedness of healthcare facilities as well as the systems being put in place to provide uninterrupted medical support during military operations.

At Jaipur Military Station, Air Marshal Thareja inspected a range of military healthcare facilities and interacted directly with medical personnel. He commended the dedication, professionalism and exemplary service of the medical teams, noting their role in sustaining high standards of healthcare delivery for Armed Forces personnel.

The review also highlighted the broader importance of military medical systems in sustaining combat effectiveness. Air Marshal Thareja stressed the need for continuous excellence in medical services, along with stronger interoperability and better coordination among the Army, Navy and Air Force. He said an efficient and integrated medical support system remains essential to preserving the operational effectiveness and resilience of the Armed Forces.
