Air Marshal Praveen Keshav Vohra Takes Over as Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff

Air Marshal Praveen Keshav Vohra, decorated with UYSM, AVSM, and VM, has taken on the role of Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (Policy Planning & Force Development). This appointment is a significant move towards enhancing joint planning, capability development, and policy coordination within the branches of the Indian Armed Forces.

Before assuming this new position, Air Marshal Vohra held numerous pivotal operational and staff roles in the Indian Air Force. Throughout his impressive career, he has made substantial contributions in operational planning, strategic policy development, and initiatives focusing on force development and modernization within the armed forces.

In his current role at the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS), Air Marshal Vohra will be instrumental in influencing policy planning and directing long-term capability growth for the Indian Armed Forces. This position is vital for coordinating strategic efforts that improve jointness and interoperability across the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
