Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari's Farewell Visit to No. 1 Squadron as Commodore Commandant
Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS), visited No. 1 Squadron, known as the "Tigers," from December 1 to 2, 2025, for a farewell tour in his role as the Commodore Commandant of the unit.

Upon his arrival, he was honored with a ceremonial Guard of Honour, signifying the Squadron's admiration and respect for his distinguished career. During the visit, he evaluated the unit’s operational readiness, engaged with the Squadron personnel, and participated in a sortie aboard the Mirage 2000 aircraft, emphasizing his active involvement in frontline operations.

This visit underscored Air Marshal Tiwari’s lasting connection with No. 1 Squadron and his dedication to guiding its personnel, maintaining operational excellence, and preserving the Squadron’s tradition of professionalism and readiness for combat.
