Air Marshal Mishra Assesses Operational Collaboration at Southern Air Command

Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, serving as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Western Air Command, recently made a visit to the Headquarters of the Southern Air Command. During his visit, he engaged in extensive operational discussions with Air Marshal Manish Khanna, who holds the position of Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Air Command.

The discussions centered around critical operational insights gained from Operation Sindoor. The talks emphasized the effective utilization of air power, improved coordination between commands, and highlighted the significant role the Southern Air Command played in ensuring maritime security and maintaining situational awareness across multiple domains during the operation.

Additionally, the visit featured a detailed review of joint operational readiness and the preparedness for Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) efforts. Both commanders reiterated the necessity for seamless integration between Commands to effectively tackle emerging security threats and to bolster India's overall operational capabilities.
