Air Marshal Manikantan's Diwali Visit Brings Festive Cheer to Air Force Families at Darbhanga

 

Air Marshal Balakrishnan Manikantan, serving as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, recently visited Air Force Station Darbhanga. Accompanied by Dr Nirmala Manikantan, who serves as the President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (AFFWA) Regional, the visit was timed to coincide with Diwali celebrations with Air Force personnel and their families.


During their time at the station, Air Marshal Manikantan engaged with officers, airmen, and their families, praising their dedication and professionalism in serving the nation. He personally handed out sweets to those on duty and extended warm Diwali greetings, acknowledging their unwavering commitment to duty, even during festive periods.

Dr Nirmala Manikantan also conveyed her warm regards to the families at the station, acknowledging the vital role they play and their resilience as part of the Air Force community.


The visit from both the AOC-in-C and the President of AFFWA Regional was a source of festive joy, enhancing the sense of unity and esprit de corps among the personnel and their families, and reflecting the Indian Air Force's ethos of prioritizing service over self.
