Air Marshal B Manikantan Evaluates Agra Air Base Operations and Launches Key Water Supply Initiative
Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, conducted a two-day visit to Air Force Station Agra from May 2 to May 3, 2026. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the operational readiness and infrastructure developments at this strategic air base.
Throughout his visit, the Air Marshal reviewed essential operational facets and ongoing development initiatives. One of the significant moments was the inauguration of the newly completed Water Supply Enhancement Project, which is designed to provide continuous water supply to accommodate the growing needs of the station.

This project was completed with the collaboration of Headquarters Central Air Command, the Municipal Commissioner of Agra, Jal Sansthan Agra, and the Military Engineering Services, demonstrating a robust example of civil-military cooperation in infrastructure initiatives.

While engaging with the station's personnel, Air Marshal Manikantan praised the air warriors for their steadfast dedication and high-level operational readiness. He emphasized the significant role of Air Force Station Agra in executing air transport operations and supporting Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) missions in the region.

The visit highlighted the Indian Air Force's ongoing commitment to enhancing its operational capabilities and improving infrastructure to support mission readiness and the welfare of its personnel.
